What is the Dream line?

Dream Line is a vintage rotary phone that helps you create an audio guestbook at your wedding or event. It is a classy way to bring back the retro way we used to communicate before cellular phones.

How does it work?

Your guests simply pick up the phone and listen for the message greeting asking them to leave a message. They can leave words of encouragement, congratulations, and share memories they have with you. The guest hangs up the phone and their message has been recorded. The next guest picks up the phone and the process repeats until you have an amazing collection of messages for your audio guestbook.

What is an audiogram?

An audiogram is a personalized file with a picture of your choice (typically an engagement photo) and your guest's audio message and their voice wave file dubbed over it. Some couples like to press these files onto a vinyl record. We don't press vinyl but we can recommend some companies that can do that for you!

How does the dream line get to our venue?

A member of the Dream Day Entertainment Dream Team will come to your venue and set up the Dream Line for you. They will test it to make sure everything is working properly and then come back at the end of the night to pick up the Dream Line.

How long does it take to get our audio guestbook files?

While some other companies will have a turnaround of 6 to 8 weeks, we will make sure you have your audio guestbook files and audiograms within 48 hours of the end of your event via electronic sharing and Google Drive. We can also put the files on a flash drive and mail it to you or if you're in the local area, drop it off at your front door! Most of our couples receive their files as soon as the next day and sometimes even a few hours after the event has concluded.

Where is the best place to put the dream line at our wedding?

The best place to put a Dream Line is near the gift or card table or any high traffic area where your guests have to walk past it to see it. It is always smart to keep it away from the DJ speakers or you will pick up a lot of background noise on every message. We supply a sign with instructions and tips of things to say. If you book our Photo Booth as well, our attendant will remind guests to leave messages on the Dream Line throughout the night as well. Some background noise is unavoidable. We run all of your audio files through a software to clean up the background noise and get you the best audio playback possible.

How much is a dream line?

The Dream Line service can be a part of your event for $300. Travel fees may apply based on how far away your venue is from our home base of operations in Sun Prairie, WI.
